Younger Looking skin with Pelleve – Reversing the Signs of Age

Pelleve is a new wrinkle reduction system that reduces wrinkles and tiny laugh lines from our facial features.  It’s a revolutionary skin tightening system for non-ablative skin rejuvenation, created by Ellman International.

Recently Ellman Internationalintroduced a new family of GlideSafe Handpieces that allow for safe, effective, painless and precise Pelleve treatments that target wrinkles beneath the surface of the skin by using advanced radiofequency technology.

The GlideSafe Handpieces are sensor designed to stop contact when the device loses contact with the skin.  Each handpiece allows for several hours of treatment, allowing doctors  customization of each treatment.  In addition there are four different sizes of handpieces for the different areas of the skin.

Pelleve does not have the same discomfort found in other skin tightening therapies and is perfect for patients who seek natural and effective solutions without the downtime normally associated with skin tightening therapies.

I engaged in  conversation with Dr.Lay while he performed my Pelleve treatment, we focused on my areas of concern, my chin, forehead and under eye area. I felt no discomfort and afterwards my skin felt and looked smoother and firmer.

Before Pelleve reversing the signs of age i.e wrinkles, tiny laugh lines and crows feet were painful and recovery time was extended for days or weeks at a time.

Pelleve infuses heat to the deep layers of the skin stimulating the growth of new collagen, providing the skin with a more youthful appearance.  Pelleve treatments feel like a warm facial massage that can be performed during lunch or while you’re out running errands.

Pelleve takes 28 days for results to be visible, but in some cases results are noticeable immediately.

I experienced a Pelleve treatment three weeks ago and the area where the treatment was performed is smoother and softer.  The tiny laugh lines around my eyes, forehead and chin are virtually non-existent, and  my mother finally commented on how great my skin looked.

*Some Q&A:

How does Pelleve work?

Pellevé delivers constant, gradual energy to the skin, causing heat to build up where the skin and fat layer come together. The increasing heat modifies the collagen bundles deep inside the skin, causing them to contract and stimulating the growth of new collagen over time. This results in firmer, tighter skin.

How long does a Pelleve treatment take?

A full facial treatment typically takes about 45 minutes to an hour. Because no anesthesia is used and any swelling is minor, there is no downtime.

What should I expect from a Pelleve procedure?

First, a protective gel is applied to the face. Patients say they feel a deep warming sensation when the doctor touches the area being treated with the Pellevé handpiece. No anesthetic is used, so you will act as a guide to describe the depth of the sensation as the doctor moves the handpiece across your face.

What about after the procedure?

Mild swelling and redness may occur, but studies have shown that this usually goes away within a few hours to a day.

How long does it take to see results?

Many people see the result immediately after just one treatment, with lasting improvement for up to six months as the skin produces new collagen. Additional treatments may improve results,  you should consult with your doctor for a recommended number of treatments.

Pelleve is available through dermatologists, plastic surgeons, medspas and cosmetic surgery clinics nationwide.

Besides being a safe and effective wrinkle reduction procedure Pellevé is for men and women who want to feel better about how they look without surgery.

Pelleve by Ellman is Citygirl approved!
