Beauty Steal: Lasting Finish Pro by Rimmel London

Greige is still the rage in the nail world!

So far it hasn’t proven to be a fly-by-night fad, and I’m thankful because greige is such a versatile hue.

Lots of nail brands have in recent years hopped on the greige bandwagon, but I’m currently LOVING Rimmel London’s Lasting Finish Pro in Steel Grey.

The steel grey hue is very flattering, varying from a greyish-beige to sometimes even a purplish hue, depending on the light.

The formula is a great consistency, neither too thin nor thick. The wide, flat, tapered brush is designed well, and allowed me to apply the nail lacquer evenly with just a few swipes. I could have gotten away with one coat, but my type A personality went for two.

I was most curious about the 10 day guarantee claim. After a week of wear doing my regular routine, I was impressed. The polish had very minor chips, but stayed shiny and looked pretty darn good. Keep in mind, I do plenty of dishes, cleaning and hand-washing on a daily basis!

The verdict?

Rimmel London’s Lasting Pro Finish is a winner. It’s affordable, long-lasting and offers a plethora of beautiful shades (31 to be exact!).
