Recently I was on the prowl for makeup brushes. Initially I was a little overwhelmed…there are so many different choices and I didn’t want to spend a fortune.

This basic 5 brush set is a starter set that deserves kudos for being a sharp-looking but quality set, easy on the pocketbook and environmentally friendly.

The brush handle, first and foremost is easy to handle and feels good in my hand. It’s made of bamboo and the ferule is created from recycled aluminum. The bristles are really the crowning glory though…super, super soft and made of synthetic Taklon bristles and therefore safe to use by sensitive skin folks and those that may be allergic to animals.

ecoTools 6 Piece Brush Set impressively rivals more expensive and upscale makeup brush brands and I was pleased that I was using products that are a little easier on the earth’s resources. I actually ended up purchasing ecoTools powder brush and eyeshadow brushes to round out my collection!
